🔹 About the assignment

We are now looking for an experienced Construction Manager / Subproject Manager – Construction for a comprehensive investment program within process industry, construction, infrastructure, and real estate at Stockholm Exergi. The assignment is located at the client's facilities in the Stockholm area (including power and heating plants).

You will be responsible for a defined construction subproject within a larger program and coordinate the construction part with other technical areas such as process, electrical, and automation.

🔹 The role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating construction-related parts of the project with a focus on time, cost, quality, work environment, and environment. You will act as the link between project management, contractors, consultants, and clients, representing the client on the construction site.

🔹 Responsibilities

Subproject and construction management

• Lead and drive construction subprojects within industrial, infrastructure, and real estate environments

• Develop technical specifications and tender documents
• 
  
• Participate in procurement and evaluation of contractors in consultation with project management and purchasing
• 
  
• Lead and follow up on construction contracts within the assigned area
• 
  
• Participate in design and review construction documents

Time, cost, and quality

• Establish and follow up on schedules
• 
  
• Monitor costs, forecasts, and additional work
• 
  
• Ensure quality through self-inspections, inspections, and follow-ups
• 
  
• Manage deviations and propose corrective actions

Coordination and communication

• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• 
  
• Lead and participate in construction meetings, coordination meetings, and site meetings
• 
  
• Ensure good documentation and information dissemination
• 
  
• Be the client's representative on site

Work environment, environment, and safety

• Ensure compliance with work environment and safety requirements

• Act as BAS-P/BAS-U if necessary
• 
  
• Follow up on environmental requirements, sustainability goals, and legislation
• 
  
• Manage risk analyses and work environment plans

Handing over and closing

• Participate in final and warranty inspections
• 
  
• Ensure that as-built documents and operation and maintenance documentation are delivered
• 
  
• Support handover to management or operations

🔹 Qualifications (mandatory)

• Master’s degree in engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent
• (or YH education with relevant experience)
• Several years of experience in construction management or project management within construction/infrastructure
• 
  
• Good knowledge of contract forms AB, ABT, and AMA
• 
  
• Good knowledge of the construction process and regulatory requirements
• 
  
• Knowledge of PBL, BBR, and AML
• 
  
• Good computer skills (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, SharePoint)
• 
  
• Driver's license B
• 
  
• Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing
